It s good for both mountain biking as well as high performance road riding. It s claimed to be suitable for road track bmx and mountain biking cyclo cross. While lacking the outright hell n high water tenacity of its extreme tested last month rock n roll s gold chain lubricant will give traditional wet ceramic lubes a seriously good run for your hard earned while attracting considerably less gunk en route. Remember to follow the directions it will make a big difference in how well the lube works.

I use gold in the dry period 4 weeks or so in high summer and extreme all other times. Rock n roll gold lubricant is recommended for road and mountain bike use which is great because i ve needed to use this lubricant on my cyclo cross bike s chain as well as a couple of road. The folks at rock n roll say this one gives the best chain performance in terms of making your shifting faster. Rock and roll gold works nearly as well but is not quite as resistant to wetness.
